There was exposed for sale in the Galloway Arms on Friday Princes Street Public School (late Parochial), with teacher's house, garden, &c. The upset price was £350, and after a spirited competition it was knocked down to Mr George Hodkinson at £522. Such a high figure for an old property was never thought of. It must, therefore, be an Indication of the increased value of property here.
