The late Rev. Wm. McLean, minister of Penninghame has bequeathed the residue of his estate, amounting to £14,000, to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. The late rev. gentleman also bequeathed the sum of £500 to the Kirk Session of Penninghame, the interest of which, after the widow's decease, is to be applied as a busary to students belonging to the parish entering th the ministry, and to be called the McLean Bursary.
