NEWTON-STEWART
THE MOORS

The 12th promises to ho favourable to sportsmen. The spring was mild for hatching, although we are informed the broods of grouse and black game are not so large. Mostly all the old barren birds have brooded, so that on the whole there will probably he no deficiency. Patridge coveys are a fair average, and pheasants have done best outside.
