No better weather could be desired than that we have had of late. Not too bright sunshine, and occasional showers sufficient to keep the soil moist. We had no heavy rainfalls for the last six weeks until Tuesday when it rained all day. Turnips have grown fast, and the work of thining commenced. Ryegrass is greatly improved and will no doubt turn out to be heavier than was expected. Pasture is abundant, and stock is greatly improved iii condition. Oats are far forward and looking well, and there is every reason to believe that this crop will be a heavy one. A great breadth of potatoes have been planted. They have made rapid progress. In some cases the early varieties may be in the market in a week or two, but the bulk of them will hardly be ready before the middle of July. Altogether the harvest prospect is very hopeful.
