The annual match in conjunction with the Penninghame, Minnigaff, and
Kirkmabreck Ploughing Association, came off on the farm of Park, Penninghame,
on Wednesday. Although the weather has for some time past been extremely
disagreeable, it was nevertheless favourable for the occasion. There were
24 single ploughs and 1 double-furrow, and the work on the whole was said
to be excellent. The judges awarded as follows :-Seniors, 1st,
