A very Iarge number of trees have been torn up by their roots. Chimney-cans, slates, and sign-hoards were blown down The force of the wind drove the rain under t Me doors, and through the windows, in cases where it was thought impossible. The Cree on Sabbath morning rose to about its extreme height, but nothing more serious has happend.
