Antony OPC

Welcome to Online Parish Clerks for the Rame Peninsula Cornwall

We are genealogical volunteers, part of a worldwide group of volunteers who endeavour to to assist family historians by providing free information about a parish, its people and history. We are part of the Cornwall Online Parish Clerks project. Online Parish Clerk Projects are also active in several other counties.

An OPC is a volunteer and should not be confused with the civil Parish Clerk appointed by a Parish Council.

My name is Jim Sheppard. I am the Online Parish Clerk (OPC) for Antony and Torpoint and webmaster. On behalf of the other Online Parish Clerks of the Rame Peninsula, Fred Hancock, Sheviock; Gillian Kempster, Maker Rame and St. John; and Loraine Fisher, St. Germans I would like to welcome you to our website. Our parishes are located on the Rame Peninsula just across the border from Devon in South East Cornwall.

The data contained in these pages has been transcribed or donated to the project by a number of people with interests in these parishes. The records shown are by no means complete. We are always interested in adding new material to the site. Perhaps you have visited the Rame Peninsula and have an old family photograph or genealogical information you'd like to contribute, or you live or once lived in the area and have memories that would help bring the area alive for remote visitors to the site. If you have anything whatsoever that you consider appropriate to add to the site please contact us.
