HEPZIBAH7 COBURN (Abraham T.6, David5, Moses4, Moses3, Joseph2, Edward1) b. Fredericton 29 April 1835 d. Sheffield 14 March 1862 dau. of Abraham T.6 and Hepzibah (Pickard) Coburn m. 6 June 1854 Moses7 Henry Coburn b. Sheffield 10 April 1832 d. Ripples 6 December 1907 son of Moses6 and Rebecca (Cowperthwaite) Coburn.

Hepzibah and Moses Henry were both great-grandchildren of Moses4 and Hannah (Burpee) Coburn. Moses H. was grandson of Moses6 and Hannah (Barker) Coburn. Hepzibah was a granddaughter of David6 and Elizabeth (Tyler) Coburn. Hepzibah’s only child-producing offspring was George Hayward Coburn.

George Hayward was Hepzibah’s only child to produce offspring. He headed a line of what could be called double Coburns, those Coburns who have both Moses5 and David5 as ancestors. None of George Hayward’s Coburn name descendants live in New Brunswick. It was his son Hayward H. Coburn who in 1965 produced the Supplement to the Genealogy of the Descendants of Edward Colburn Coburn.

The New Brunswick Coburn descendants of Moses4 are offspring of Moses H.5 and Barbara (Cowperthwaite) Coburn.
