This indenture made on the first day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and six in the forty-sixth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George that who by the Grace of God King of Great Britain, France and Ireland defender of the faith and so forth Between Benjamin Sloot of the Parish of Queensbury in the County of York and the Province of New Brunswick Yeoman and Jane his wife of the one part and David Coburn of the Parish County and Province aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Benjamin Sloot and Jane his wife for in consideration of the sum of Sixty pounds current and lawful money of the Province aforesaid to them in hand paid by the said David Coburn of and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and themselves herewith fully content and satisfied and paid have given granted bargained and sold and by these presents do fully clearly and absolutely give grant bargain and sell unto the said David Coburn his heirs and assigns forever a. certain parcel or Tract of land situate lying and being in the North side of the Kisaway Ridge Road in the Parish and County aforesaid and it being part of the Lott 27 in. the Guides and Pioneers block bounded Easterly by Robert McCarne Northerly by part of the aforesaid :Lott. belonging to Abraham Yexera Westerly by lands of the aforesaid David Coburn and Southerly by the Ridge or public road. Containing One hundred and fifty acres the same to be more or less together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the said bargained premises tenements and improvements and every part and parcel thereof unto belonging unto the said David Coburn his heirs and assigns forever to his only proper use and to be his of and to for other use interest or purpose whatsoever and the said Benjamin Sloot and Jane his wife do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said David Coburn his heirs and assigns That they the said Benjamin Sloot and Jane his wife all and singular the said bargained Lands and premises. hereby granted and every part & parcel thereunto the aforesaid David Coburn his heirs and assigns from and against them the said Benjamin Sloot and Jane his wife their heirs and assigns and from and against all and every person or persons whatsoever claiming any lawful right title property Interest or demand whatsoever unto the same or unto any part or parcel thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend. In witness thereof the said Benjamin Sloot and Jane his wife hereunto have set their hands, Affixed their Seals the day and year above written.
Signed Sealed & deliveredReceived at Fredericktown the first day of April 1806 of David Coburn the sum of Sixty pounds [Illegible] such currency as being the condition above mentioned.
[Illegible] On the first day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Six before me Garnet Clapper Esq. One of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid Personally came and appeared Benjamin Sloot and acknowledged that he executed the foregoing Deed for the uses and purposed therein as [illegible] and at the same time appeared Jane Sloot his wife and being examined by me separate and apart from her husband declared that she [illegible] the same freely for the [illegible]
